meet rach

hi, i'm rach. i have been living with late stage neurological lyme disease for nine years.

i am an infj, counsellor + dog mama.

find me sitting in the sunshine somewhere, probably drinking tea.

i love orchids, teal, daybeds, comfort tv shows, taylor swift, crosswords, avocado, football, quotes, the ocean, random acts of kindness + summer evenings jamming to music in the car.

i would describe myself as authentic, empathetic + thoughtful with a witty sense of humor

(puns always intended).

Living with chronic illness, we get so used to pretending that things are better than they truly are. And then some days it hits you just how tough this life is and how strong you are to live it the best way you know how.

To-do list: rest when I need to not when I feel it's "earnt", breathe through the chaos, remember that I'm allowed to take up space, be kind to myself too, not just others, take it one moment at a time.
